Community dinner is a quarterly Zora’s House event that centers good food, good people, and good conversation! This potluck style event means every attendee should bring themselves and one tasty dish to share!
May's topic of discussion will be: self-care for women of color in the age of Trump.
Whether you’re protesting or organizing on the front lines or a woman of color just trying to wake up every day and live your best life, this conversation is for you!
When the world feels overwhelming, how do you rest, release, process, and heal? What role do mammas, aunties, sisters, and sistafriends play in caring for you? How do you care for the women and men folk in your life and community?
We’ll be sharing all of this and more! You’ll walk away from this community dinner with a full stomach, some creative strategies to add to your self-care tool kit, and a few new local friends to laugh, cry, and drink wine with as needed!
Event cost: $10 (plus a dish) for non-members, free (plus a dish) for members!
