Join Tisa Watts, the Columbus Garden Coach, to learn about FERTILIZERS for different plants and purposes. We’ll discuss common garden DISEASES like powdery mildew, tomato blight, and cedar-apple rust. Some insect PESTS we’ll review include Japanese beetles, leaf miners, and aphids. WEEDS are a fact of gardening, but learn how you can get them under control. Learn how IPM (Integrated Pest Management) can help you control today’s garden problems using a variety of tools and techniques — and avoid problems in the future!
This class is a basic, science-based introduction for the home gardener. Each attendee will take home a customized plan for garden fertilization and pest management!
CLASS WILL BE HELD at the Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center (2201 Fred Taylor Dr, Columbus, OH 43221). Free parking at the «barn» behind the 4-H Center in the fenced-in lot.
