The Bullet Ranch has added two ( 2 ) additional Elementary Kids Firearms Safety Courses, due to the over whelming response. Special thanks to course developer Casey Morris, NRA Instructor Cody Rae, and City of Pataskala Officer Jim Ramsey for all of their hard work and contributions to keep our kids and community safe. The course is limited to children between kindergarden and 6th grades ( 5 thru 12 ). Each class will be limited to 20 children. Parents are welcome to stay for the course, but classroom space IS limited and we reserve the seating for the children.
The current available dates are Tuesday, January 23rd at 6pm, and Wednesday, February 7th at 6pm. Expect the course to last between 60 and 70 minutes. Full Course description:
Did you know just this year alone there have been 253 accidental shootings by children?
Even if you do not have firearms in your home this education is essential, because research shows that nearly two million American children live in homes with guns that are not stored responsibly, as defined by the American Academy of Pediatrics — locked and unloaded, stored separately from ammunition.
This course is instructed by an NRA certified instructor Cody Rae and Police Sergeant Ramsey. It will be designed for Children elementary age and teach our children about gun safety. The focus will be on how to differentiate between a toy gun and real gun. The steps the child should take if they are to find an unknown firearm. What uses a gun can have and the potential real life consequences guns can have if they are not handled with RESPECT. The ultimate goal will be the child developing a healthy relationship with firearms.
The course fee is $10, and upon arrival all kids attending will receive a $10 Bullet Ranch gift card. If you DO NOT show for the class, your fee is forfeit. Please call 740-964-1787 to sign up today! Questions? Please comment or email [email protected]
! We WILL add future dates as classes fill, to make sure every kid in our community is safe.
