How did the 1917 Russian Revolution affect the lives of people who are currently living in Columbus? This panel will host four Ohio residents who will discuss how the 1917 Russian Revolution altered the fate of their families and their futures, as well as a Visiting Fulbright Scholar from Kiev who will share his experiences reconnecting with ancestors who emigrated to the U.S. from Ukraine generations ago. The panel will be chaired by George Kalbouss and panelists include: Andrew Fedynsky (Resident Scholar, Ukrainian Museum-Archives, Cleveland), Gregory Proctor (emeritus, OSU School of Music), Constance Oulanoff (retired, Columbus City Schools), and Oleksandr Debych (Visiting Fulbright Scholar).
