Desmond Jones jams their way back to Columbus from that state up north. On a tour with their debut and self titled album, they are surely on a mission to prove that they mean business (goofy, happy-go-lucky business). Baccano starts things off, and local up-and-comers: Dropsickle join the boys from Grand Rapids.
Desmond Jones is a five-piece funk/rock/jazz fusion band from Grand Rapids, Michigan. With original music written to complement the group's sound as a whole, the music is centered around melodic guitar riffs, smooth bass lines, funky drum beats, and tasteful saxophone.
Desmond Jones puts on exciting and high energy shows and is proud to say that each set list and each song is different from show to show.
Drawing inspiration from greats like Herbie Hancock, Led Zeppelin, Modest Mouse, and The Funk Apostles, their well-versed style flourishes and grants them the ability to perform in most any setting.
Baccano first began developing their eclectic musical styling in July of 2014 and has shared the stage with other notable artists such as Glostik Willy, Earphorik, and Ekoostik Hookah. Coming off a summer filled with various regional performances, Baccano now prepares to release their musically-potent EP Amalgam.
