Combustion Brewery & Taproom
80 West Church Street #101, Pickerington, Ohio 43147
Columbus Underground is teaming up with Combustion Brewery & Taproom and DK Diner to bring together two of our favorite cold weather comforts, Beer and Donuts! Join us at Combustion Brewery & Taproom's brand new event space, The Loft, for a Saturday morning like no other.
Ticket buyers will get to try 4 of DK's famous donuts with 4 specialty micro brews from Combustion Brewery, each guest will also receive a souvenir tasting glass to take home. The pairings include:
• Antidote Blonde Ale with Blueberry Cake Donut — This is a coffee infused blonde ale (5.0% ABV) using Stauf's Guatemalan SHB coffee beans (Full-City is the roast level). A golden beer with huge coffee notes in the aroma in flavor, amazingly familiar to a fresh bag of freshly roasted coffee beans.
• Siamese Dream Pumpkin Ale with Chocolate Cake Donut — This is a pumpkin ale (5.0% ABV), created by creating a house-made pumpkin and spice extract which is then infused into the beer. If there is such a thing as liquid pumpkin pie, this is it!
• Breakfast Stout with Pumpkin Cake Donut — This is a coffee infused stout (5.7% ABV) using Stauf's Guatemalan SHB coffee beans (Full-City is the roast level). The robust character of the dark roasted and caramel malt in this beer is amplified with a fresh infusion of the Guatemalan coffee beans. Rich notes of dark chocolate and coffee.
• Grapefruit Moon IPA with Sour Cream Donut — This is a session IPA infused with Grapefruit (5.0% ABV). Our Ever the Other IPA, Session IPA, is packed full of Citra and Meridian hops, lending notes of passion fruit, lemon, and grapefruit. The additional grapefruit infusion really takes this one to the next level.
Additionally, event attendees can score a free growler with the purchase of a growler fill-up, and the Star City Sliders food truck will be on-site with a specialty menu.
Two ticketed times are available 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm. Guests are welcome to enjoy the brewery and tap room before and after the event as well.
