Northland Performing Arts Center (NPAC) is producing My Fair Lady (starring Cabot Rea) in conjunction with Vaud-Villities and Imagine Productions.
In what is frequently called «the perfect musical», the power of education transcends discrimination and class privilege in sexist times. This gloriously witty musical adaptation of George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion presents pompous phonetics professor Henry Higgins (Cabot Rea), who takes a bet from Colonel Pickering that he can transform unrefined, dirty flower girl Eliza Doolittle into a duchess and fool everyone into thinking she actually is one! The sexes clash then form an unlikely bond in this classic production.
Show times are 8pm on September 15, 16, 21, 22 and 23, and 2pm on September 17 and 24. NPAC is easily accessible for all and is located at 4411 Tamarack Blvd., Columbus, OH 43229 (behind the new Morse Road Kroger).
