The Ohio Arts Council’s Riffe Gallery presents «OHIO: The Start of It All», Originial Children's Book Illustrations from the University of Findlay's Mazza Museum. Curated by Dan Chudzinski, the exhibition features 60 original children's book illustrations based on people, places, inventions, and more related to the great state of Ohio.

The University of Findlay’s Mazza Museum is the most diverse collection of original artwork by children’s book illustrators in the world. The museum’s goal is to promote literacy and enrich the lives of all people through the art of picture books.

Daily hands-on activity for children and adults.

Curator’s Tour | Friday, July 28, 2017, noon – 1 p.m.
Dan Chudzinski will lead an in-depth tour of the exhibition and discuss the collection.

Reception | Saturday, July 29, 2017, 1 – 3 p.m.
Enjoy light refreshments, a hands-on activity, demonstration by author and illustrator Michael J. Rosen, and live music by Andicus and Christopher Swanson.

The Ohio Arts Council’s Riffe Gallery showcases the work of Ohio's artists and the collections of the state's museums and galleries. The OAC Riffe Gallery is located in the Vern Riffe Center for Government and the Arts, 77 S. High St. Columbus, OH 43215. Hours are Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Thur 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., and Sat 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Visit riffegallery.org for more information.
